Privacy Notice – Platform Users and Event Attendees

At streamGo we are committed to protecting your privacy. This notice applies where we process personal data through the streamGo Platform on behalf of our customers (for example, where you register for or attend an event hosted on streamGo, participate in polls/Q&A, or use event-related support features).

In this context, our customer (the event organiser) is the data controller and streamGo acts as a data processor. The event organiser determines the purposes and lawful basis for processing your personal data and provides the primary privacy information to you. If you have questions about how your data is used for a specific event, you should contact the event organiser directly.

We process personal data only in accordance with the event organiser’s instructions and to provide the streamGo Platform and related services. This typically includes processing registration details, attendance information, engagement interactions (such as polls and Q&A), and event analytics, as described in our Terms & Conditions of Business.

Where enabled the platform may also provide optional AI-assisted functionality. This may involve processing user-generated content such as webinar transcript text, audience questions, and support messages to:

We do not intentionally submit sensitive or special category personal data to the AI service provider. Users should not include sensitive personal information, credentials, payment details, or other confidential information in free-text fields. Our internal controls are designed to reduce the risk of accidental inclusion of such data. 

We may also generate and store derived representations of transcript text (such as vector embeddings) to enable search and retrieval features within the Platform.

Our AI service provider states that data is not used for model training.

Retention: we retain event-related data in accordance with our contract with the event organiser and their instructions.

Privacy Notice – Customer and Supplier Employees

At streamGo we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy applies when we are acting as a controller of personal data, i.e. where we have determined the purposes and means of the processing of that personal data. It applies where we process personal data relating to self-employed customers and suppliers and employees of our customers and suppliers.

We will process your personal data for the purposes of communication with our customers and suppliers, ensuring any products or services exchanged between us satisfy agreed requirements and maintaining records. The legal basis for this processing is that it is necessary to achieve our legitimate interest, namely the supply of our streamGo Platform and service offering and maintaining a business relationship with your employer.
